The objective of this department is to prepare students for various junior management positions in hotel and travel establishments, catering companies, tourist shopping malls, or travel agencies. The
curriculum of this programme seeks to develop professional knowledge and practical skills to cater for this sector’s need and cover subjects such as room services, restaurant-bar services, reception
services, and middle-level managerial skills. This programme is suitable for dynamic, cultured, and extroverted individuals. Students have to complete an industrial training period of 60 days. Cookery
programme provides practical training on the skills of cooking and presentation of food as an occupation. Students, who can find practical training opportunities at facilities in or out of the school, are taught
subjects such as nutrition, food technology, hygiene, menu planning, and Turkish and world cuisine. Graduates can work at hotels, restaurants, and various catering companies.
